Restorative & Sound (75min)
Restorative yoga consists of supported poses that lead to deep relaxation throughout. By relaxing deeply into each of the poses you reduce stress, increase digestion, lower blood pressure, improve sleep This systemic re-balancing also works on the physical, emotional and energetic body and restores the body deep from within. All postures are on the floor with guidance using supportive blankets and bolster to support your body and nervous system. You will also have access to weighted sand bags to ground you and lavendar eye pillows to assist you into a deeper state of relaxation. During each posture (6 postures total ) that is held from 5-10 min you will receive a curated sound bath that corresponds to the chakras and or to the main areas of the body that hold tension ( neck, heart, hips, stomach). Pure Yin (60 min)
Pure Yin Yoga is a slow, passive style of yoga that targets your deeper muscles and connective tissues (fascia, ligaments, joints). In this class you will hold floor-based poses for extended periods (3-5 minutes or longer), encouraging stillness and minimal muscular effort to improve flexibility and mobility. Pure Yin Yoga helps to cultivate deep relaxation and mindfulness. This class is an added bonus to your already existing workout/routine.
Yin/Restorative Yoga ( with headphone option) (75 min)
This class is a combo of Yin and Restorative Yoga.We now have top of the line noise reduction HIFI headphones connected to our microphoned yoga teacher. This option will allow you to sink deeper into a meditative state as most solfeggio and binaural beat music requires a headset to get true benefit of two frequencies merging together. You will have control of your own volume and choice to not use headphones and practice with no music and only verbal cues for guidance. A Yin yoga class consists of a series of long-held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body – the hips, pelvis, inner thighs, lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. The yin poses, therefore, are passive and performed while seated or in a reclining position. The poses are held with the muscles fully relaxed, allowing time and gravity to deepen the stretch and target the fascia. The time spent holding these asanas is similar to meditation. With the chosen restorative postures, you are supported by blankets, bolsters and at your discretion have sand bags for grounding. Sivasana is emphasized in this class with use periodically of Gong and sound bowls.
Healthy Back Yoga Wall (75 min)
This class is catered towards those with limited mobility or new to physical exercise or yoga. Postures are performed on the floor or with The Great Yoga Wall. The goal of this class is to reduce pain and improve back health through core strength, balance, flexibility and understanding proper alignment cues. Participants will still reap the health benefits of yoga in a low impact format.
Fascial Release Yoga + Yoga Wall (90 min)
Relieve tension and deeply relax with this alignment based therapeutic class. This class is designed to release fascial restrictions, to enhance body awareness, develop better posture, and improve core strength. Lacrosse or Tennis balls are used in conjunction with foam rollers to soften tissue and challenge balance. This class is for anyone who wants the skill to relieve pain and increase energy. Each class is unique to opening up a focused area of the body. We will also integrate The Great Yoga Wall to open and release the spine.
